Writing springs from the accumulation of interesting life experiences. Born in Honolulu, Robyn Leslie soon moved stateside and exchanged island life for the Midwestern experience. She graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, working her way through school in continental restaurants. A rare opportunity to share her business acumen and restaurant experience came through the launch of a new restaurant. Long hours and little sleep rewarded the partners with being listed as one of the top ten restaurants in a city of over one million. Later a move to Indiana, provided her with plans to further her career at the Indiana State University Graduate School in gifted education. Later, as a professional in the public school system, she was writing grants, developing teaching programs and creating curriculum for a new gifted education program. In the program's first year she and her students won an award for creative thinking at the state level.

Further travels took Robyn and her family to Windsor, England, where she was able to continue her studies at the University of London Graduate School. It was her stay in England and a love of reading, combined with her insatiable thirst for knowledge that led her to a dedicated group of writers, both published and unpublished. Sharing encouragement, words of wisdom, and insight into the elements of story crafting, it wasn't long before she found herself immersed in the magical world of fiction. She returned to the US with a newfound love for storytelling, and has been penning tales ever since.
