Alyson Publications has been putting out some extremely good books lately. I'd never read anything by Claire McNab before, but after reading THE WOMBAT STRATEGY, I'll be searching out more of her books. In this first of the Kylie Kendall mysteries, Kylie gives up running a pub in the Australian outback town of Wollegudgerie and heads off to Los Angeles when the father she barely knew leaves her his share of a private eye agency. Never mind that Kylie knows nothing about being a PI. She jumps right into the middle of things with hilarious results. This book is a fun, fast read I laughed and giggled all the way through. I can't wait to read more of Kylie's adventures!
