Wow! The Red Church by Scott Nicholson is a mystery with a supernatural twist. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat! Even though it soon becomes clear who is committing the murders, the ending still has a twist that surprises.

The Red Church is the story of good versus evil, love and hate, how easily the lines between good and bad can blur, and how those things impact families. The action begins almost immediately with two young brothers stumbling on the first victim and doesn't let up until the last page. The spooky, old Red Church is the pivotal location to the story, with the history that has passed there the driving factor for the evil actions of the present. The father of those two brothers and his willingness to do whatever it took to save his boys was so realistically portrayed. Any parent will empathize immediately with him.

I can't say enough good things about The Red Church! I look forward to reading more from Mr. Nicholson, and hope he might consider a sequel to this story. It would be interesting to see where those boys are a few years down the line.
