TELL ME SOMETHING PRETTY |

|
Tony comes in the door of my trailer without bothering to knock. "Baby, we've got to talk." "We've got nothing to talk about. Your stuff is in the hall. Give me your keys to my trailer, my car, the van, any key that you have that does not belong to something you own. I want my keys and you out of here."Thus ended a relationship that cost me an arm and a leg, so to speak, not to mention the emotional stress that went along with it. This is the account written by a woman who has been completely taken in by a charming handsome man. She is particularly vulnerable after a painful divorce. He roars into her life like a bulldozer and moves into her trailer, drives her car, and spends her money, all in the guise of love. His favorite ploy is that he is looking at some real estate to buy. He has all kinds of reasons why his funds are not available for a short time and gets her to make him loans which he never pays back. He takes her on outings when he has forgotten, lost, whatever, his wallet thus forcing her to pay the tab. All of this done with such charm she does it gladly. Of course this leads to more and more cash outlay. When it finally came down to the rights to a book she has written.....well, my advice is buy the book. There are some good points to be aware of, especially if the reader is a woman in a vulnerable state of mind, but also for anyone. Be advised this book will make the reader more cautious and sometimes that is a good thing. |
