What a TOTAL delight this book is!! Here's a bit of advice for you: if you start reading LOVE IS MURDER, make sure you've got enough time to sit and read it straight through because you won't want to put it down! Luckily I started it on an evening when I didn't have to go to work the next day because I was up reading til 2:00 in the morning because I had to know how it ended. Palmer's lead character Morgan Tyler is head writer for the daytime drama "Love of My Life." When much-hated network exec Damon Radford is found dead, the list of possible killers is long. But Morgan's name pops to the top of the list when it's discovered that she inherits a fortune from the dead man. The characters are fresh, funny and thoroughly likeable and the daytime TV setting is fascinating even if you don't watch "soaps". Linda Palmer's LOVE IS MURDER has my highest recommendation as a fun, sexy, interesting read! |
