For Their Own Good is the mystery writing debut for Robyn A. Mostacero. She has created an organization whose sole purpose is to eliminate murderers and rapists that have not been adequately dealt with by the legal justice system. In this series opener, For Their Own Good, the Hour to Save Her introduces you to that organization and its staff. Complete backgrounds of the assassins provide you with physical descriptions, what motivates them and their interpersonal relationships (note: explicit sex) as you travel with them to complete a job. Also provided is a history of the organization from its inception to its current unraveling. You see into the lives of the board members and upper level management. Personal life issues and greed for power begin to destroy the organization's original purpose.

Graphic violence, with inner turmoil, drives the story to its incomplete ending. Clearly there is going to be more, providing closure for a murder and the completion of at least 2 assignments. Ms. Mostacero guides you to believe in the organization and its goals. She attempts to connect you with these beautiful, intelligent, physically fit assassins.

The story is intriguing. Fully developed characters, and their interpersonal relationships seek to be resolved. As the story builds, you want to see what happens to the organization, its people, and to the people who may destroy it. You will want to continue with the series.
