

Patricia Harrington has worked with the Cambodian refugee community in the Puget Sound region for 11 years. She was the director of the first Cambodian Episcopal Church in the country. The author is a professional grant writer and has written grant programs helping diverse communities and people. Her most recent grant project was awarded a $35 million HUD HOPE VI grant to revitalize the Salishan Public Housing Development in Tacoma, WA.
