Maryann Miller has been telling stories since she was a child scaring her sister with late-night tales of the monster in the basement. She has also always been fascinated by the evil people do, why they do it, and the people in the 'white hats' who catch the people in the 'black hats.'

Previous publishing experience includes having feature articles and short stories in numerous national and regional publications. The Rosen Publishing Group released nine of her nonfiction books, including the award-winning COPING WITH WEAPONS AND VIOLENCE In School and on Your Streets. Her passion for writing has always been fueled by a desire to touch people's lives while giving them an entertaining read.

Over a career that has spanned twenty years, Ms. Miller has held positions as staff writer and editor for several publications and one production company. She has also worked extensively as a Public Relations consultant and freelance editor. She has two one-act plays published by International Readers' Theatre, and her screenplay, A QUESTION OF HONOR, was a finalist at Sundance. The script adaptation of OPEN SEASON was a semifinalist in the Chesterfield Film Company Competition, placing in the top 15% of over 4000 entries.

Writing as Sutton Miller, Maryann has now released Doubletake from Clocktower Fiction.
