Italian born Maria Grazia Swan had her first award winning short story published at the young age of fourteen. In an Italian periodical printed in Belgium. Since then, Swan, who is convinced some Gypsy cast a spell on her, has lived in many countries, different continents. Her non-fiction singles related articles and short stories appeared in local publications. She wrote a singles column and received a national award for non-fiction. Swan is a member of Sisters in Crime and is presently living in Phoenix, Arizona.
