Lynda writes from her Tennessee country home where she lives with her husband and their nine-year-old daughter, Heather. She loves traveling, camping, hiking, fishing, horses and trail-riding and reading.

She has been writing for publication since late 1996. Her short stories have appeared in MURDEROUS INTENT MYSTERY MAGAZINE, FUTURES MYSTERY ANTHOLOGY MAGAZINE, NEFARIOUS TALES OF MYSTERY and others.

DEADFALL, Lynda's debut national forest mystery suspense novel, is at the printers and will be available in February from the publisher, your local bookstores and Internet bookstores.

On March 1, Lynda will begin an eight week signing/speaking tour that will take her to the book's Pacific Northwest setting via Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington. DEADFALL will officially launch at the Left Coast Crime Writer's Conference in Portland, Oregon.

Lynda's "Lilacs and Lace" published in FUTURES MYSTERY ANTHOLOGY, won the 2001 Derringer Award was for the best mystery novella published in 2000. Her novella won out over stories published in ELLERY QUEEN AND ALFRED HITCHCOCK MYSTERY MAGAZINES, making the victory twice as sweet.

In addition to being a staff writer for the NovelAdvice Cyber Journal, Lynda's nonfiction has appeared in Futures Magazine, The Pen is Mightier, the Sisters in Crime Newsletter and others.
