Lorie Ham wrote and published her first song at the age of 13. She then went on to publish many poems, articles and short stories. For 5 years she has been writing for her local newspaper on a regular basis. Within the last 2 years she has had 3 mystery short stories published in Cozy Detective Mystery Magazine.

She began singing gospel music at the age of 5, and has traveled across the country singing, been a regular guest on a national TV program and a part of an international radio program. Lorie has recorded 12 albums, her 2 solo albums containing mostly songs she has written. She resides with her husband and 2 children in the same town where she was born, the small farming community of Reedley.

Lorie is a member of Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America.
