Linda Berry has published a collection of children's Christmas plays, and over a hundred articles and short stories, which have appeared in magazines as varied as True Love, Highlights for Children and Needlecraft Today. Her inspiration for Trudy Roundtree came from her cousin, "who's been policin' in south Georgia" for quite a while. She lives in Denver, Colorado.
