Kris Neri is the author of the Tracy Eaton Mystery Series, Revenge of the Gypsy Queen, an Agatha Award nominee for Best First Mystery Novel, and the forthcoming Dem Bones' Revenge.

Revenge of the Gypsy Queen is her first novel, but she has published dozens of mystery short stories, including the story in which Tracy Eaton debuted, "L.A. Justice," which won a Derringer Award from the Short Mystery Fiction Society.

Her short mystery fiction has also appeared in Blue Murder Magazine, Murderous Intent, Women's World, Sleuthhound, Crimestalker Casebook, Mystery Time, Futures, The Cozy Detective, and many others.

Kris a member of Sisters in Crime, and a past president of the Los Angeles chapter, as well as a member of Mystery Writers of America and the American Crime Writers League. She has also taught crime writing in various real and virtual environments.

Southern California is her base and she lives there with her husband, Joe, and their pets, Morgan, Jake and Amanda.
