Kathryn Lively is a woman of many responsibilities and very little time. She is an author, book editor, book reviewer, webmistress, newsletter editor, Catholic, Beatles and Rush fan, and an avid reader. In her spare time she sleeps, and even then her dreams are so vivid that she often wakes in the middle of the night. Sometimes she will share these bizarre visions on her weblog at http://livelywriter.blogspot.com.

Kathryn enjoyed critical acclaim with her debut novel, Little Flowers (Highbridge Press, 2001), a story set in Williamsburg and Norfolk, Virginia which concerns the aftermath of the murder of an abortion practitioner. The eBook version of Flowers was nominated for the 2003 EPPIE Award for Best Inspirational Novel; currently Little Flowers is out of print and Kathryn is seeking another publisher for it. Her second novel, the Norfolk-set mystery Murder Most Trivial (FIE, 2002), was published through her own imprint, FrancisIsidore Electronic Press, and is currently available online for free and in print via CafePress.com.

Kathryn's third novel, Saints Preserve Us (Wings, 2003), won the 2003 Royal Palm Award for Best Mystery, given by the Florida Writers Association. The sequel to Saints, called Pray For Us Sinners, will be published by Wings in 2005.

Kathryn is also the webmaster for the Catholic Writers Association and the editor of its monthly newsletter, The Write Stuff.
