Meg and Michael return to Yorktown for the annual celebration of the Battle of Yorktown, which marked the end of the Revolutionary War. Michael's mother heads the committee that has planned a huge event for this year's celebration, featuring hundred of costumed re-enactors--and Meg is not only in charge of organizing a craft fair, she's also tasked with keeping her independent-minded fellow crafters free of historical inaccuracies for the duration of the weekend. With her father running the first aid tent as an authentic Colonial doctor's office, and her brother trying to sell Lawyers from Hell, his computer role-playing game, to a possibly shady software company, Meg has her hands full even before the inevitable homicide throws all her plans awry.
