Author DJ Park is a collaboration by the husband and wife team of Doug and Jan Parker. Both have backgrounds in law enforcement; Doug is a serving officer with a suburban Denver police department. Jan’s background also includes theater arts and dance. The two have traveled extensively in the southwest by RV, which has provided them with both the settings and some of the characters for their stories. In addition to writing mysteries, Doug and Jan share a love of the outdoors, classical music, and gourmet cooking. “Gone Awry” is their first novel.
