

Dan Barton is a professional stand-up comedian. He began his performing career while a student at the University of Texas. He then moved to Houston and began performing at the Comix Annex along with renowned comics such as Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison.
After moving to Los Angeles, he concentrated on writing. The result was two suspense novels, BANSHEE and RELIFE. Upon returning to stand-up, Barton began to appear on such programs as A&E's "Evening at the Improv ," "Star Search," "Talk Soup" and "Live From Rascal's." He spent two years opening for the late Sam Kinison on his international concert tours.
Dan has also appeared in feature films, television programs, industrial videos and national commercials. He continues to perform regularly at the Comedy Store.
He lives in Southern California.
