Cliff McGoon has been a writer, editor and publisher for most of his adult life. He received a B.S. degree in Communications from the University of Illinois in 1963.

McGoon published the magazine "Communication World" for 13 years for the International Association of Business Communicators headquartered in San Francisco.

McGoon worked in public relations and communications for several multinational corporations. He also was a captain in the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.

His editorial work has received numerous national and international awards over the years.
