Clea Simon, "Mew is for Murder" (Poisoned Pen), is a Boston-based journalist and author. In addition to "Mew is for Murder," she's written three nonfiction books, including "The Feline Mystique: On the Mysterious Connection Between Women and Cats" (St. Martin's) and contributes to the Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, and New York Times. A native of suburban Long Island, N.Y., she now lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with her husband Jon Garelick (also a writer) and their cat Musetta.
