Catriona McPherson was born in South Queensferry, Scotland, and earned an MA in English Language and Linguistics at Edinburgh. She lives on a farm in a beautiful valley in Galloway, Scotland, and has set her historical crime novel, After the Armistice Ball, in the stately houses of 1920's Perthshire.
