Books are such a joy in life—the feel of them, the new worlds they open for me. I believe in the magic of storytelling. No matter my circumstances, I can open a book and find love, laughter, and a light to guide my way.

My stories are about women in crisis - probably because I've faced several and stumbled my way through. In my books, I highlight a problem and offer possible solutions while celebrating the inner strength we women sometimes forget we possess.

My second novel and my favorite, Beyond the Quiet, tells about a repressed woman in her forties who, after her husband dies, finally learns to live. And my first, Ten Times Guilty, is a suspense about a young single mother struggling for value after a brutal attack. In my third novel,
