A FEW WORDS FROM THE AUTHOR:

Born and raised in Oklahoma, I attended Oklahoma College for Women and the University of Oklahoma, graduating with my BS degree in "Speech Therapy With a Specialty in the Deaf.

My husband and I came to California in 1960. In 1967 he was killed in an automobile accident, leaving me with two young boys to face the world alone. Three years later I married Don La Pierre, a Satellite Controller and we also had a son. Together we raised three wonderful guys who are college graduates, plus enthusiastic hunters and fishermen.

I've lived in the Silicon Valley (Sunnyvale, California) for over thirty years. I once owned a Mail Order Used Book business dealing mainly in signed and rare books, but phased it out because it took up too much of my writing time. I am an avid reader, belong to the WWS, (Wednesday Writers' Society) and periodically attend functions of other writing organizations.

I write Mystery /Suspense/Thriller novels. THE ENEMY STALKS, DOUBLE TROUBLE, THE SILENT SCREAM, DIRTY DIAMONDS and BLACKOUT are the first five books of the HAWKMAN SERIES. THE DEADLY THORN and MURDER.COM are two stand alone mystery/thrillers.

I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of plotting an exciting story.
