"Oh my! What a great story of suspense Ms LaPierre had woven for her fans. Her writing moves the reader like a trickle, turning into rapids and heading for a sure tumble over a waterfall.

This is a Don’t put me down! novel. The author quickly hooks the reader into the lives of her main characters Hawkman and Jennifer.

Someone wants ex-agent Hawkman dead and comes close to succeeding. Having saved his life Jennifer (Hawkman’s beautiful widowed neighbor) finds herself caught right in the middle. Hawkman warns her, "They’ll go through you to get to me." In fact, that’s why the Hawkman himself is a widower and the murderer was never captured. Stubborn; beautiful Jennifer refuses to leave and that’s when the adventure begins.

For the reader, this whole novel is an adventure. With the characters you live right on the edge and breathe a sigh of relief at each close call. Best of all, at the end of this novel, the reader has become so entwined in the lives of the Hawkman and Jennifer, that you don’t want their story to end. Romance? YES! They do have their story and nicely done.

I am told that Ms LaPierre has a sequel planned. I hope she will toss it my way P-L-E-A-S-E…. Sign me as a fan."
